Armageddon News

Are these people men or beasts?

March 9, 2025

Our enemy hates human life. And his followers do, too. They try to be crafty and hide their sordid bloodlust behind camouflaged cloaks of pretend compassion and false concern. For the health and well-being of the mother, they say. A woman has a right to choose what happens to her body! Women’s health care is a basic human right!

Codebreakers on the battlefield have long understood the true meaning and intent of these types of intercepts, and it doesn’t bode well for the babies and children on the fields of Armageddon. Come with us as we explore the assaults on human life at various theaters along the front line.

Be Careful What You Pray For
Our first stop is Scotland, that once brave and proud land that stared down popes and threw down idols in the fires of reformation for the good of Christ’s holy Kirk, only now to erect shrines to the modern Moloch, for in Scotland, the abortion clinic reigns supreme. One dare not touch its sacred cow, or encroach upon its unholy precincts–even within the privacy of your own home.

Last fall, Scotland enacted the Abortions Services (Safe Access Zones) Act. “Under the act,” The Christian Institute reports, “people risk an unlimited fine for handing out pro-life literature within 200 meters of a centre, speaking to anyone about abortion, or praying silently.” This includes conduct in one’s own home, if the home falls within the sacred perimeter outlined by law.

According to The Christian Post, “A letter sent to residents in an Edinburgh zone stated: “Activities in a private place (such as a house) within the area between the protected premises and the boundary of a zone could be an offense if they can be seen or heard within the zone and are done intentionally or recklessly.” Private prayer in one’s own home may amount to breaking the law!

Does anyone know of a type of prayer that is unintentional? What have we come to when even the posture of prayer in one’s flower garden can be viewed as a threat to the staff and patrons at the abortion shrine 199 meters down the street? Because, hell forbid anything but tranquility to prevail upon the already troubled consciences of women who abort their babies!

Such legislation is not unique to Scotland, but is now endemic to every country within the UK.

Rock, Paper, Scissors, Persons!
Next, let us journey to beautiful New Zealand, home of Mount Taranaki and millions of other legal persons. That’s right! Mount Taranaki (now to be known as Taranaki Maunga), that enormous hunk of rock, has been granted legal personhood by act of Parliament. This means it has all the rights of a human being. It is all on paper, so it is official. The law was passed in response to lobbying by the Maori, indigenous peoples of New Zealand. In a speech to Parliament, lawmaker Paul Goldsmith explained, “The mountain has long been an honored ancestor, a source of physical, cultural, and spiritual sustenance and a final resting place” for the Maori.

LIFESITE News reports that New Zealand has also previously given personhood rights to a river and a piece of land. Such a generous consideration by all good and conscientious Kiwis, we are sure! And we would think that, with such magnanimity, they would protect all human life with personhood. But we would be sadly mistaken. The unborn are deemed unworthy of such accommodation.

Abortion laws in New Zealand were updated in 2020 to allow for termination of pregnancy for any reason up to 20 weeks. For 20 weeks and above, at least two “qualified” health practitioners must agree that the abortion is “clinically appropriate.” These changes were made to cut through the red tape and “reduce barriers to accessing abortion services,” according to the Ministry of Health, which obviously wields some mighty big scissors–in more ways than one.

So, Kiwi lawmakers signed the paper that covered a rock. Scissors would normally cut paper, but who wants that? Rock trumps scissors, after all. And scissors are useful for cutting other living things. They dare not call them persons.

A Killing Garden (State)
Our last stop is New Jersey, USA, where Governor Phil Murphy is requesting an additional $2 million for the state budget to “help recruit obstetricians, gynecologists, and other providers of women’s health care.” This, per NJ.com. Codebreakers were on the alert. But they needn’t have been, for the Garden State governor minced no words when he plainly stated, “I will certainly never back down from defending women and protecting their access to reproductive health care, and especially, their right to an abortion.”

The cat was out of the bag. (But this is an unfair analogy. Felines love their kittens.)

New Jersey is hoping to capitalize on the exodus of abortion providers fleeing states where abortion bans and restrictions passed after the 2022 overturning of Roe vs. Wade have made their murderous practices onerous or practically impossible. The additional funding would be used to attract such providers by helping with moving costs and loan forgiveness programs. Abortion providers, you see, must kill. It is their nature. They cannot simply move on to more gainful employment.

The dog can’t help but return to his vomit. (Again, another unfair analogy. Have you ever seen a canine’s care for her little ones?)

These horrors have witnesses of the battle asking, “Are these people men or beasts?” Well, you can always tell a beast from a human in the environs of Armageddon. Beasts have more regard for their offspring, born and unborn. They are your judges, O ye wicked hordes!

More evil, but not subtle

November 10, 2024

In many ways, it is the same old-same old at the battle’s front these days, yet, somehow more sinister. Somehow increasingly more evil. But not subtle. The devil forswore subtilty long ago. Why need he be subtle, when he has such broad support among the assembled masses? They shout, they foam out their own shame, and we would fain retire to our bed, rather than our writing desk, if only for a moment of reprieve from the stupefying clamor of the doomed hoards outside. The firm application of a pillow to one’s ear might bring such relief to yours truly, but alas, we must report to you the news and other such outrages. And with that, we wearily present the following:

Not What You Were Expecting
If you are a UK male between the ages of 12 and 55 in need of a scan (Xray), be prepared to tell the radiographer whether or not you are expecting. That’s right. The good (?) people of the National Health Service (NHS) have recently rolled out guidance that requires males to fill out a pregnancy form. Of course, this has been standard for females for nearly the entire and storied history of radiology. Radiation can harm a baby in utero; so, men, know before you go!

The guidance, a nod to the modern gender confusion movement that has taken the western world by storm, has caused something of an outrage among male patients. According to The Telegraph, there are reports of irate men storming out of offices and neglecting scans altogether, unwilling to take the insult to their anatomy and intelligence. The NHS has cast too wide a net, it appears, one that strains out the gnat and swallows the proverbial camel. Or, to put it another way, they have thrown out the men with the bathwater that never had a baby in it. Ouch!

Experts and staff are warning the NHS that the policy is hurting patients more than helping them, as men cancel or otherwise decline to schedule a scan. Certainly, this is not what the NHS was expecting.

Something Save the King!
In further news related to our friends across the pond, The Christian Post reports that there are now more people in the UK who do not believe in God than those who believe. Explaining Atheism, a program overseen by Queen’s University Belfast recently reported the following interim findings of their three-year study:

•From 2008 to 2018, the number of those who disbelieve climbed from 35.2% to 42.9% •In the same period, the number of those who believe dropped from 41.8% to 37.4% •Those who say they don’t know if God exists actually dropped from 21.7% to 18.2%

Researchers point out that they are “limited” in being able to account for this shift, but believe it has a lot to do with socialization. “Our results show that the extent to which one is socialized to be a theist (mainly by parents, but also by wider society) is the key determining factor,” explained Professor Jonathan Lanman, a member of Explaining Atheism’s core team.

Now, everyone knows that the Church of England has been in dire straits for decades, and the King of England is the head of said church. But with numbers like these, we are made to wonder how long it will be before the first word of the national anthem must be changed to something a bit less divine. Odd, maybe?

Catholic Confusion
Pope Francis is at it again. The aging Pontiff, despite the increasing frailty of his health, continues to wreak havoc both within and without the Roman Catholic Church with his off-the-cuff remarks and personal support of practices inimical to the church’s doctrine. In September of this year, he traveled to Singapore, where he addressed an inter-religious meeting of young people. In published remarks posted on the Vatican website, Francis told the assembled youth, in part, “All religions are paths to God. I will use an analogy–they are like different languages that express the divine…[T]here is only one God, and religions are like languages, paths to reach God. Some Sikh, some Muslim, some Hindu, some Christian. Understood?”

In another recent (but persistent for Francis) episode, the Pontiff encouraged Ugandan LGBTQ activist Clare Byarugaba, to “keep fighting for your rights.” In a video posted on X, Francis is seen greeting Byarugaba. She says the Pope told her that “discrimination is a sin and violence against LGBTIQ communities is unacceptable.” Others present at the meeting came away encouraged to keep fighting against Uganda’s new Anti-sodomy Law, which prohibits same-sex relations under penalty of imprisonment and, for some cases, death.

Faithful Catholics may well scratch their noggins in wonderment and ask, “Does the Pope even read the catechism?” Readers of the Armageddon News, on the other hand, ask, “If the Father of the church has gone so far astray, can the children be far behind?”

And now, our task being completed, we withdraw ourselves, dear reader, from the fray–but for a moment–but for the twinkling of an eyelid and one Z. Certain we are that the cries and screeches of the motley crew will again reach fever pitch and awaken us, warranting another run of the presses. Babylon never disappoints.

Armageddon has raged on

August 11, 2024

Our readers will have noticed a hiatus from the News in the last few issues of our beloved periodical. From a reporter’s point of view, a break from the keyboard and from the smoke and fog of war is always a welcome prospect, and quite necessary when the constant barrage and thunder of bombardment fairly rattles one’s very brain and soul. We would have the readership assured that, despite our absence from the printed page, Armageddon has raged on, and we returned to our desk quite inundated with field reports exposing nearly every outrage known to mankind. From these, we have selected a few. And so, we present the news!

On the Road to Enlightenment?
Pakistan’s National Assembly has passed a resolution condemning lynchings in the majority Muslim country, the Arab News has reported. Impetus for the resolution was created in part by the recent lynching of a tourist in the Swat Valley of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and elsewhere. The man, vaguely accused of “desecrating the Holy Qu’ran,” was pulled by a mob from the local police station, tortured and set ablaze.

“The House believes that the right to life is the most cherished right as enshrined in the Constitution of Pakistan.“ A statement from the resolution, which passed unanimously, reads: “Every person is to be dealt with in accordance with the law and not otherwise.” An enlightened point of view, surely.

But before our readers rejoice at this apparent repudiation of barbaric injustice, we do well to remind them that “the law” mentioned in the resolution itself allows for the taking of one’s life for merely insulting Islam or the prophet Mohammed. Only they have a right to live who do not offend Muslim sensibilities. Blasphemy laws still rule in Pakistan.

There is a difference in the minds of the good people of the National Assembly, however, between a person being executed by a mob on the streets or by the mob of the legal system. One mustn’t rob Caesar of his right to pronounce sentence. ** Touch Not the Transgender Idol or Else!**
When Dr. Eithan Haim saw with his own eyes what was happening at Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH) last year, he felt he had to do something to expose it. The 34-year-old surgical resident noticed that TCH continued to clandestinely offer gender-affirming care to minors, contrary to Governor Greg Abbott’s order banning such care and the hospital’s own public statements that they were in compliance with the order. So, Dr. Haim accessed medical records and leaked evidence showing the hospital’s violations to journalist Christopher Rufo at City Journal. Rufo published the story, and now the doctor is facing a four-count indictment from the US Department of Justice and a potential sentence of 10 years for violating US medical privacy laws. At least, that is the pretense for the lawsuit.

Rufo maintains that personal information was redacted from the data Dr. Haim leaked to him, but any unauthorized accessing and releasing of a patient’s medical records is a violation of medical privacy laws. A legal defense fund set up for Dr. Haim had reached over $865,000 of its $1 million goal by the time of writing.

In addition to this, FBI agents recently visited, intimidated, and threatened Vanessa Sivadge, a Texas nurse who separately blew the whistle on the harm being done to children in the TCH’s transgender clinic. It appears the Biden administration is moving the muscle of its legal and law enforcement arms to strike down any who would dare touch its sacred idol of transgenderism.

Cheap Lots in Heaven for Sale!
Do you suffer from fear that there is not a home in heaven for you? Does doubt taint your celestial prospects and hopes? Then fear and doubt no longer, because a church in Mexico has a solution. The Iglesia del Final de los Tiempos recently announced the selling of real estate plots in heaven. It’s the perfect way of guaranteeing a spot within the pearly gates!

“Would you like to rest eternally with the prophets of the Old Testament?” the church inquires in a June Facebook post. “How wonderful would it be to greet the Prophets Moses, Samuel, or Saul when you see them from the window of your home! Iglesia del Final de los Tiempos – Sede Apostólica and Prophet Andrés de la Barra can make your eternal dream a reality.”

This program, also known as the “Heavenly Urbanization of the Hebrews” was the result of an apparent conversation that Pastor de la Barra had with God in 2017, or so we have been informed. With prices starting at the low, low, low, very low, hugely discounted price of only $100 per square meter and promises that it will be near the throne of God Himself, we think all readers will agree this is literally quite a steal. When one thinks about it, they are practically giving the heavenly turf (and a few other things) away.

The church conveniently accepts most major credit cards and even Google and Apple Pay.

And thus we return to the stench of rotting carcasses and the foul odors and stink of the wickedness of this world!

No Shortage of Bad News

November 12, 2023

News is an eternal thing in a transient sort of way. As long as there are human beings on this earth, there is no end to it. And, since mankind is sinful and rebellious, there is no shortage of bad news.

Few are the reports from Armageddon that are uplifting or positive on the human level. The human level is, after all, dirt level, and the blood is already up to the horse’s bridles. And so, we present you with more outrages to righteous sensibilities in this installment. Read on and be informed.

Interrupted Prayer
What is the price for silent prayer? Isabel Vaughan-Spruce of Birmingham, England knows the answer. Vaughan-Spruce was recently harassed and arrested by police for the second time in a year as she stood silently outside an abortion clinic with her eyes closed. Her latest arrest comes just weeks after a UK court cleared her of criminal charges for her first arrest in December 2022.

In a cell phone video of the latest incident, police are seen interrogating Vaughan-Spruce as to her intentions. She repeatedly told them she was praying “in her head.” Police told her that was an offense, according to a Birmingham Public Space Protection Order, which establishes a buffer zone around abortion clinics. The order specifically names prayer, “with respect to issues related to abortion services,” as a form of protesting, and as such it is banned within the buffer zone.

A September 2023 YouGov UK poll found that “three quarters of Britons support banning people from protesting outside abortion clinics.”

Vaughan-Spruce is the Director of the UK March for Life. May her silent prayers be heard. ** What is a Woman?**
Matt Walsh famously asked and explored this question in his popular 2022 documentary. Apparently, Michigan law-makers are still stumped and no closer to an answer. They recently voted to remove the words “woman” and “she” from the state’s 2014 breastfeeding law to make it more “gender neutral.”

State Senator Michele Hoitenga, a Republican, had sought to preserve the female-specific language of the law by introducing an amendment, but it failed.

“As far as I’m aware, women, specifically mothers, are the only people who can breastfeed or pump milk,” she said. Her Democrat (and a few of her fellow Republican) colleagues were confused enough about plain language and biology to disagree with her.

Meanwhile, in Arkansas, Governor Sara Huckabee Sanders has signed an executive order that bans the use of certain gender-neutral terms by government employees and official documents. “We’re all here today to say, frankly, that we’ve had enough,” she said before signing the order. “Enough trying to erase women and girls, enough denying our biological differences from men, and enough of the craziness that is taking over our country.”

Sanders is the first woman and the first mother to serve as governor of Arkansas. Perhaps a phone call to their friends in the South might have helped the good (?) Michigan lawmakers with their confusion.

Vaxx Law Challenged
Public and private schools and daycares in California are forbidden by law from exempting children from vaccinations for any reason other than medical. Advocates for Faith & Freedom, however, are suing the state’s Attorney General Rob Bantam, citing religious discrimination. The law, SB277, was originally signed by former Governor Jerry Brown in 2015.

According to Fox News, the complaint states that California “allows immigrant and homeless children to attend public and private schools without proof of vaccination,” and “California cannot demonstrate that religiously exempt students pose a greater risk than secular exempt students. The exempt, unvaccinated children under SB277 are still free to sweat in weekend sports leagues together, participate in public extracurricular activities, and sit through hours of services at churches and synagogues.”

The reader is forgiven for thinking the complaint makes perfect sense, because it absolutely does. But its success in the courts remains to be seen. We are talking about California, after all. Land of smoggy L.A. and smoggy political minds that think up is down and down is up. If they fail at the state level, Advocates for Faith & Freedom are hopeful that their suit will be taken up by the conservative-controlled U.S. Supreme Court.

And thus, the news!

This is war!

October 8, 2023

Babylon the Great is a murderess, bent on the destruction of the most vulnerable of mankind. Her bloodlust knows no boundaries. And she is not just drunk of the blood of saints and martyrs. Her rapacious deathly greed targets saint and sinner alike. The saint she seeks to snatch from the Faithful and True. The sinner she seeks to thwart from finding Him in the first place. Is it any wonder, then, that those who are most in need in this world are the target of her drunken gluttony? We see her fingerprints all over the news headlines that spill out the sorrow and shame of this world.

They Want to Help You Die

Kathrin Mentler was struggling with suicidal thoughts. She often does. “I live with chronic suicidal thoughts but that doesn’t mean I never feel joy in my life,” she told The Christian Institute. So, on this particular day when she was battling these persistent thoughts, she went to a place where she thought she would be kept safe from self-harm. “That day my goal was to keep myself safe. I was thinking of maybe trying to get myself admitted to hospital because I was in crisis,” she said. But instead of affirming her worth and helping her to feel safe, a clinician at Vancouver General Hospital asked the 37-year-old Canadian if she had considered death through Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD).

She was stunned. She wanted help and safety from her thoughts. She wanted to live, not die. And here before her were the very ones entrusted to help her asking if she had considered physician-assisted suicide.

Canada legalized euthanasia for certain circumstances in 2016. This was expanded in 2022 to include non-threatening physical disabilities. By 2024, it plans to expand MAiD eligibility to people battling mental illness. Why Vancouver General Hospital would have offered MAiD to Mentler in 2023 is baffling. The procedure is illegal for her condition until next year. Why they would have offered it to her at all when she desperately wanted to live, however, is more concerning.

According to The Third Annual Report on Medical Assistance in Dying in Canada 2021, a total of 10,064 died under MAiD in 2021, “accounting for 3.3 % of all deaths” in the country that year. This is a growth of 32.4% over 2020. Since 2016, a total of 31,664 people have died at the hands of those who took the Hippocratic Oath to do no harm to them. ** Churchgoers Gone Rogue**

According to the Survey on Adult Churchgoers on Social Issues and Worldview, one out of every six (16%) of churched adults “admitted to having ever paid for, encouraged, or chosen to have an abortion.” The survey, conducted by the Center for Biblical Worldview and published in June of this year, was meant to gauge “public opinion related to a variety of social issues, as well as responses regarding their worldview.” It also found that 22% of respondents fully identified as pro-choice. In addition to this, 21% of church-going adults believe the Bible does not identify when human life begins, and 20% claim to have a non-biblical worldview.

We are not surprised by these numbers. We’ve always known that good ole Babylonian preaching reaps dividends for the kingdom of darkness and provides fodder for the cannons of Armageddon.

Parents vs. California

“I am not going to allow this to keep happening to children,” Jessica Konen recently said to Fox News Digital. In a landmark victory for parental rights, Konen sued the Spreckles Union School District in Monterey County, California, for socially transitioning her 11-year-old daughter, Alicia, as a male at school and not informing her. The school district settled with Konen for $100,000.

Going through a difficult time, Alicia was told by staff at the school that “she may be upset because she didn’t know who she ‘truly was inside’.” They allowed her to use the boys’ bathroom and to use male pronouns while at school. All without her mother’s knowledge.

Alicia has since resolved her confusion and is working alongside her mother to fight for parental rights. “They need to understand their place, and they need to stay in their place,” Konen said. “And schools nowadays, they’re awful. So, I’m going to fight this fight and keep fighting this fight.”

California, however, is nonplussed over such parental victories. The State’s Attorney General Rob Bonta has filed a lawsuit to stop another school system, The Chino Valley School District, from enforcing its recently passed Policy 5020. According to the Christian Post, the policy states that its schools “must inform parents within three days of becoming aware of a student’s request to use a different name or pronoun or if the student asks to use the bathroom or play on an athletic team that doesn’t align with their sex.”

Bonta filed the lawsuit with the Superior Court of the State of California, arguing that the policy runs afoul of the state constitution’s prohibition of “local educational agencies from infringing on the privacy rights of their students.”

Babylon may lick her lips and claim she is no widow, but do not be fooled. Strong is the Lord God who judges her. And strong are His saints, the armies of heaven, which follow Him and bear the Spirit’s steel. This is war!
