The premier of Ontario recently stated that it is important for parents to be informed when a child makes a decision regarding gender change. This has greatly offended René Jansen in de Wal, President of the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association.
“Premier Ford’s comments, which accused school boards and teachers of indoctrinating students…are shameful, disrespectful, and potentially harmful.” He went on to say that Catholic teachers strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for all, and to imbue classrooms with respect and inclusivity. It would seem they forgot about the need for “inclusivity” when they expelled Josh Alexander from his Catholic school for voicing his concern with the transgender bathroom policy and also for daring to say that there are only two genders. For doing so, he was deemed a bully. And this, in a Catholic school!
Mr. Jansen in de Wal boldly declared that “Catholic teachers will continue to strongly condemn any attempt to spread hate and bigotry in any form–including any attempt to pursue reckless or harmful policy. We will continue to stand in solidarity with 2SLGBTQIA+ students and communities.”
Hate and bigotry? Since when does disagreeing with someone mean you hate them? It has nothing to do with hating anybody, but such is the typical response from the idealogues. Deflect and demonize. Similarly, Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, responding to the national protest September 2oth regarding parental rights and the radical sexualization of children in public schools, stated:
“Let me make one thing perfectly clear: Transphobia, homophobia, and biphobia have no place in this country. We strongly condemn this hate and its manifestations, and we stand united in support of the 2SLGBTQI+ Canadians across the country. You are valid and you are valued.”
Gaslighting, as usual, he dismissed the whole point of the protest and ranted about “hate and its manifestations.” Neither were exhibited in this peaceful and constitutional protest.
Is the LGBT community valued? Of course! Every one in the human family is valued. Are not those holding a differing opinion also valid and valued? It seems Mr. Trudeau has little tolerance for the “hateful” and “homophic” who interfere when the state is indoctrinating their children.
Such interference, Mr. Jansen in de Wal called a reckless and harmful policy.
Reckless to inform parents of their child’s gender confusion (thanks to the teacher’s grooming and propaganda!)? Harmful to want to spare your young children from being exposed to all manner of radical sexualization? Who in their right mind could agree with such? As one expressed, “Even a staunch secular atheist should feel a deep-seated revolt and guilt promoting, defending, or even tolerating the grooming and indoctrination of little children to twist their nature simply to satisfy the leftists’ agenda.” And this is true.
The reckless and harmful are, in fact, the instigators and propagators who expose innocent children to such dire abuse.
This radical ideology has infiltrated both religious and secular institutes. Never kowtow to its demand for tolerance.
